Our highly experienced draughtsmen work closely with the clients Technical team and Architect and Engineer to produce simple economic designs that are structurally capable of matching the design intent.
They use CAD software from AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla Structures to produce 3Dmodels, working drawings and parts lists.
We also have an in-house survey team with a 3D scanner. This enables a very quick and accurate way to gain information which is then developed by our draughtsmen.

GK Engineering & Design Ltd offer bespoke metal fabrication of welded and bolted structures in a range of metals, mild steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous including aluminium and brass.
Our highly skilled in-house fabrication team are all coded to UKCA Execution Level 02. We also have an in-house NDT inspector who is qualified in the Dye – Penetrant & MPI processes who ensures every item fabricated is produced to the highest quality and fit for the design loads it has been designed to.
Everything that leaves our production workshop is inspected by our QA inspector, with all paperwork signed off. Additionally, our welding plant is monitored every 6 months with the material and welding wire certification filed for each item fabricated.
We pride ourselves on our installation service where our Project Managers are responsible for overseeing each Project, working closely with both our clients and Site Supervisors and their relevant teams to ensure a smooth and safe installation on site. All of our highly experienced site teams hold the relevant qualifications for Health & Safety and site installations included CSCS, SMSTS, Manual Handling and Working at Height.
Our Site teams work closely with our Logistics office ensuring all deliveries are co-ordinated and managed.
We ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met during installation including completion of our RAMS as well as follow the QA procedure as per site requirements.
